Eighties Tees
The eighties was an era of great music and over the top clothing styles, at least in my humble opinion. Although, lot s of people wish they could forget what they wore during the 80’s, there are a few key items of apparel that do not seem to go away. In fact, these items seem to flourish and gain in popularity as new generation’s discovery them, year after year.
One such item of interest is eighties tees or as they are also called “80s tees”. Eighties Tees are quite popular with all types of people, ages and esp. among the hipsters and vintage heads. These 80’s tees are seen as very cool and trendy by their wearers.
Which eighties tees are the most popular you ask? Well quite a few are, but the most popular are the ones that pay homage to the old 80’s music rock and pop bands and solo artists such as Guns N’ Roses, Metallica, U2, Madonna and Michael Jackson.
An other popular one is the ripped, off-the-shoulder 80’s tee. The ripped, off-the-shoulder 80’s tee is not a particularly shirt that you buy, but instead make. You need to get a tee, any one will do, but a 80s one is preferred and Just cut the neck binding around and you can cut the sleeves completely out and adjust around the neck as you want. Then as an option, you can also put a slit in the front to make it a little more revealing and sexy, and cut the bottom into strips to make fringes.
A common question is, were can I find stuff like vintage 80s tees? There are numerous great places you can find cool looking shirts; of course, you already know to try secondhand shops and the Salvation Army. An other great place to look in would be your older relatives/friend’s closet, esp. if you know one that loves to keep everything, you could find some real golden nuggets there! In addition, there are many vintage stores out there, these days!
